Dale Earnhardt Jr., a racing legend with 26 Cup Series wins and the son of Dale Earnhardt, is at the helm as executive producer.

The five-part series has already commenced filming as drivers fiercely compete for coveted spots in the NASCAR Playoffs, set to kick off on September 3 at Darlington Raceway. Viewers can expect exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to drivers and teams, both on the track and in the comfort of their homes. This thrilling series is scheduled to premiere in early 2024!

Netflix Teams Up with Words + Pictures for NASCAR Docuseries

Words + Pictures, founded by Connor Schell and backed by Peter Chernin’s North Road Company, partners with NASCAR Studios. Showrunners Jackie Decker and Tim Mullen, known for ESPN’s “Quest for the Stanley Cup,” lead the series. Executive producers include Dale Earnhardt Jr., Connor Schell, Libby Geist, Aaron Cohen from Words + Pictures, plus Tally Hair from NASCAR Studios, and Ben Kennedy, Tim Clark, and Matt Summers.

This boosts Netflix’s sports docuseries, alongside “Formula 1: Drive To Survive,” “Break Point,” “Full Swing,” and “Quarterback.”
