Dolly Parton has been in the eye of the media for a long time and for most of that time, she has gotten recognition for her country songs. Even those who do not listen to country music are familiar with her name and for good reason.

However, She has now decided to dip her toe in the rock world and release an album featuring an all-star cast from legends like Elton John, Stevie Nicks to her own goddaughter Miley Cyrus.

The new album is aptly named Rockstar.

It will feature nine original songs while 21 infamous song covers including but not limited to hits such as ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Every Breath You Take’ and ‘Let It Be’. If that wasn’t enough for her fans, a lot of these songs will be featuring the artists that released those songs originally.

I’m so excited to finally present my first Rock and Roll album Rockstar! I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure and hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together!

All in all, this album is going to have something for everyone. Audiences around the world are beyond excited for this album and the new single ‘World of Fire’ even though they haven’t even heard it yet.

This is a song I felt very inspired to write. I think it speaks about everything and to everyone this day and time. I hope it is something that will touch you and maybe touch enough people to want to make a change for the better.
