Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are slated to hold events at the upcoming Invictus Games (which was created by Harry himself) in Dusseldorf, Germany. The ceremony will occur two weeks after the release of Harry’s own documentary titled Heart of Invictus, set to have an August 30 Netflix debut. In a recently released trailer, Harry, who has a role both in front of and behind the camera, expressed: “The games don’t focus on what causes the injury, but on the recovery and how to rejoin a community.”

Heart of Invictus is a five-part series about the sporting event (Invictus Games) for veterans and serving members of the military suffering from injuries and illnesses, which will be available to stream through Netflix. The series will feature Harry as the host, along with Oscar-winning directors Orlando von Einsiedel and Joanna Natasegara directing. The two are well-known known for their previous Oscar-winning documentary, The White Helmets. This production will highlight the personal stories of the individuals and groups taking part in the competition, as well as the impact the tournament has on veterans and members of the armed services worldwide.
