The joint My Morning Jacket and Fleet Foxes Bowl show has been postponed, as have the Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy weekend games. The Hollywood Bowl announced on Saturday that the joint concert by My Morning Jacket and Fleet Foxes which was scheduled for Sunday night has been rescheduled until August 28, 2023. All tickets, parking, shuttle, and park and ride passes for the original show date will be valid on the new date without further action, according to the social media announcement. In addition to this, ticketholders have been offered several options for their tickets, including an exchange, refund, donation, or to receive account credit instead.

Regarding the canceled sport events, the Dodgers’ game against the Miami Marlins, originally planned for Sunday, has been moved to Saturday afternoon. The teams will now play a split doubleheader, with the 6:10 p.m. PT game remaining on the calendar. Due to the impending storm, the L.A. Galaxy’s match versus Real Salt Lake has also been rescheduled for Oct. 14. Original tickets for the delayed soccer game will still be recognized.

Hurricane Hilary intensified on Friday as a Category 4 storm before downgrading back to a Category 2 on Saturday as it continues to make its way toward Mexico’s Baja California peninsula, according to The Associated Press. Meteorologists have issued a warning for “catastrophic and life-threatening flooding” in the region as the hurricane passes. A decrease in its intensity is expected as it travels northward. Multiple events aside from these have also been canceled due to news of the incoming storm and residents are warned to stay inside.
