The professional tennis player, announced her pregnancy with a princess-themed baby shower in June. She shared photos of herself posing with pink and purple balloons on Instagram, simply captioning them with “☺️????????”, and now the baby girl is finally here! According to a close source to the couple, Naomi and her child are doing well, and the two have not yet decided on a name for their bundle of joy.

Osaka shared that she had definitely expected herself to have “a ton of cravings” throughout her pregnancy journey, but was surprised in the end saying that she had’nt really “craved anything out of the ordinary.” Naomi is determined to be the best mom she can be. She’s taking it little by little, but she’s already got her game plan. “I would say for me, I just want to be the best version of myself. Obviously, I’ve never been a mother before so I’m taking it day-by-day and just trying to be someone that my son or daughter will be proud of,” she commented.
Naomi Osaka is apparently also taking a break from tennis to welcome her daughter, but she is already looking forward to returning to the court in 2024. “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me,” she wrote. “And I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.”
