Accetterro’s first visit to San Diego Comic-Con was very memorable, especially when he announced Nathalie Emmanuel’s joining to the voice cast of the immersive animated series Ghosts of Ruin live from the stage. The announcement was made at the convention’s Hall H presentation of the series. Emmanuel is the most recent addition to the cast, which also stars Rosario Dawson and Tony Revolori!
Who is Nathalie Emmanuel and what will be her role in ‘Ghosts of Ruin’?
Nathalie Emmanuel is an English actress, most recognized for her appearances as Missandei in HBO’s Game of Thrones and Ramsey in the Fast and Furious franchise. The executive producer of Ghosts of Ruin, Katie Stippec, revealed that Emmanuel will play Dr. Angela Tucci, teasing that she will be “a very monumental, pivotal character in the run of the show.”
Showrunner Michael Ryan also commented on Nathalie joining the cast saying, “I’ve wanted her on the show from the very beginning, because I’m a big fan of hers. She’s amazing. And I think the part she’s playing is so perfect. I can’t wait to record her.” Offering more details on who the actress will voice, Ryan added, “She’s pretty much running the neural reality. Everything I’ve watched Nathalie in, her acting is so strong and her sense of presence and strength really comes through and I really think that’s going to be perfect.”

What is ‘Ghosts of Ruin’ about?
Ghosts of Ruin is an immersive and interactive animated series that follows a group of gamers who compete in the first-ever neural reality battle royale game. However, their utopia is transformed into a hellish nightmare when a malicious virus infects the game. The show is set to be released this autumn through the Gala Film website, which is the film and television component of the Web3 company Gala. Though no streaming service is currently associated with the project, Battle Island intends to hawk it around to various platforms for a larger distribution.
K-Pop sensation AleXa, Karen Strassman, and John Bentley, who were all present on the Hall H panel, also star in the show, as do Josh Keaton, Justin Long, Cherise Boothe, Harron Atkins, Michael Longfellow, and JB Blanc.
