After her son Riley’s birth two years ago, Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara announced they were expecting again five months ago. Now the couple made a joint post in Instagram announcing that her baby boy no. 2 is finally here!

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara announced on Instagram on July 4 that they had welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Barry Bruce Trainor. Barry joins his older brother, Riley, who is 2 years old. When asked whether their first-born knew Trainor was pregnant at the time she humourously explained, “We try to say, ‘Baby in mama’s belly’, and he just points at his belly now and says, ‘Baby.'” Meghan received a flood of well-wishes from friends, fans, and fellow celebrities after sharing the news of Barry’s arrival. Paris Hilton commented, “Congratulations sis! So happy for you!” Mandy Moore also wrote, “Go Mama!! And welcome to the party, Barry!! What a lucky dude!!”
“On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world,” Meghan wrote alongside the first photos of her newborn. “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time!”

She later went on to thank all the “incredible doctors and nurses who took such good care” of her. Her baby was transverse and she had to get a ceasarian in order to give birth, but describes her experience as amazing thanks to the incredible staff at the hospital.
Who is Daryl Sabara?
Daryl Sabara is Meghans husband, and an American actor who is best known for his roles in the Spy Kids film franchise and the television series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. Sabara and Trainor met in 2016 and began dating shortly after. They were engaged in 2017 and married in December 2018. The two have two children together, a son named Riley born in 2021 and now, Barry in 2023 on the couples 7 year anniversary of their first date.
