‘One Piece’ Netflix Live Action Has Already Been Renewed For Another Season

It’s confirmed: One Piece will be continue beyond the first season as Netflix has decided to renew the charming adventure series! Series creator Eiichiro Oda shared the news himself in a video announcement on Thursday, expressing excitement at the show’s continuing success on the streamer.

What did Eiichiro Oda say about ‘One Piece’ continuing on Netflix?

Producer and creator of Netlix’s live action One Piece recently released a video confirming the renewal of the show. “To the Straw Hat Grand Fleet: What did you think of Season 1 of the live-action One Piece? I spent a long time working on it with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios,” he began. “It seems people around the world have been enjoying the show, which makes the hard work from the production team truly worth it.”

“To everyone who’s been a fan of One Piece for years, and to those who experienced One Piece for the first time, thank you so much,” continued the artist. “Two weeks after the launch, I just received some great news: Netflix has decided to renew the show! The adventures of Iñaki and the live-action Straw Hats will continue onward! It’ll still take a while to get the scripts ready, so please be patient. From here on, it seems to me the Straw Hats will need a great doctor… We will see!”

What is ‘One Piece’ about?

Since its debut on August 31, One Piece has been first in Netflix’s internal Top 10. Matt Owens and Steven Maeda brought the show into fruition, which also stars Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
