New technologies are here to stay. The internet and the use of the cell phone make our lives more practical; we no longer have to go to the library to deliver a school job, or wait up to 15 days to see the pictures we have taken, nor do we have to wait for the movie we love to leave in the video store (9 months after its release). Fortunately that is in the past!
The new generations will never know what it was to look for a Sunday night at an open stationery because we forgot the monographs commissioned by the history teacher; they will not know what it was like to not be able to make a call from your grandmother’s disk phone because she had padlocked it.
Many things have changed in the world, the way we relate, inform ourselves, buy and entertain us. So here we present a series of images that never cease to surprise or amuse us when we see the comparison between before and now.
