‘Godzilla Minus One’ Nabs UK-Irish Distribution Deal As It Gears Up For It’s Tokyo Film Festival Premiere

The latest installment in Toho’s longstanding Godzilla franchise has attained a UK and Ireland distribution deal, in preparation for its position as the closing film at this year’s Tokyo Film Festival. The movie is titled Godzilla Minus One, and continues the well-loved tradition of monster mayhem that has been a hallmark of the franchise and its popularity.

What do we know about ‘Godzilla Minus One’?

Anime Limited, based in Glasgow, will premiere the film in UK and Irish theaters on December 15. IMAX and 4DX screens will also be included in the extensive rollout. Takashi Yamazaki, the director of Lupin III, wrote and directed Godzilla Minus One. Toho is set to release the picture locally in Japan on November 3rd, 70 years after the initial film.

Yamazaki oversaw the visual effects of Godzilla Minus One in addition to writing and directing it. Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki star in the film. Anime Limited, founded in 2012, focuses in the distribution of anime titles. Cowboy Bebop (Shinichiro Watanabe), Perfect Blue (Satoshi Kon), Your Name (Makoto Shinkai), and Patema Inverted (Yasuhiro Yoshiura) were formerly handled by the business.
