Chris Hemsworth is a popular Australian actor who is best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Hemsworth has expressed mixed feelings about his daughter India’s decision to debut in Hollywood. In an interview with GQ Australia, he said that he was “proud” of her, but that he also “worries about the pressures of fame” that come with being a child actor. He really does not want Rose to act, and has previously mentioned that he wants to raise his kids away from the “harsh reality of Hollywood”. He has once more reiterated his stance on the matter, expressing how he wants her to enjoy her childhood instead of being thrust into the spotlight again. However, he does add that he would support her in whatever decision she ultimately makes.
“I’m a little bit hesitant. I don’t want her to have the same sort of pressure that I had when I was younger. I want her to have a normal childhood. But if she loves it and wants to do it, I’ll be her biggest supporter. I’ll be there to guide her through it.”

What was India Rose Hemsworth’s role in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’?
India Rose played the role of Love, the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher portrayed by Christian Bale in ‘Thor 4’. She appears at the beginning and end of the film, and her character is resurrected by the cosmic being Eternity. “You know, that was originally supposed to be just a super quick little moment in the film,” Chris mentioned in a recent interview, “And then the character expanded due to the story changing. I said, ‘Oh, do you want to do some dialog in the film?’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, cool!’ And she was a pro and loved it.”
Aside from India’s role, the rest of Chris’s family also had cameos in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’. Elsa Pataky, Chris’s wife, played a brief role as a shieldmaiden who fought alongside Thor, while his brother, Luke Hemsworth, reprised his role as Actor Thor in the play-within-a-play staged in New Asgard. India’s twin siblings Tristan and Sasha Hemsworth both also had small roles in the film. Tristan played the role of a young Thor in a montage that showed Thor’s life through the years while Sasha played an Asgardian child who was kidnapped by Gorr.
