Ezra Miller’s name has always been fraught with controversy, even before they were cast as The Flash. They haven’t had a smooth ride, from being arrested for drug possession in 2011 to a violent interaction with a fan in 2020.
In 2022, Ezra was arrested twice in four months on a variety of charges. Not only that, but their relationship with an 18-year-old Native American activist Tokata Iron Eyes was discovered, and her parents accused them of grooming her since she was 12 years old, and a temporary order of protection was issued against The Flash actor.
Their troubles did not end there, as they were charged with felony burglary in August 2022, which was later changed to trespassing.
Ezra Miller has always been at the centre of controversy.
You’d think that such behaviour would be reflected on the set of The Flash, but the Director and other collaborators praised them and spoke positively about their experience working with them.
The most important thing that has boosted this film’s hype is that Michael Shannon will reprise his role as Batman in this film. When asked about the controversy surrounding The Flash actor Ezra Miller, Michael also had a lot to say about them.
I thought Ezra was lovely—very kind to me when I was there. It’s difficult to talk about, but I always give people a lot of slack in this business, because there’s a lot of people in this business that have issues. And some people have more privacy than others.
Any time somebody is out in the spotlight getting picked on, I feel for them. Even if it’s warranted, it’s still a horrible situation.

Ezra Miller also revealed that they will be going to therapy for some complex mental health issues that only they are aware of. While Michael is an important part of the film, Miller will continue to play the central role in the ensemble cast, and they are said to be in almost every scene.
