He is currently filming the fifth installment of the ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise, and he has also signed on to star in the upcoming film ‘The Whale.’ In an interview with CNN’s Chris Wallace, the actor commented on his retirement plans, saying that it really isn’t a possibility. “I don’t do well when I don’t have work,” Ford said. “I love to work… I love to feel useful. It’s my Jones, I want to be helpful.” When asked about the reason why he refuses to consider stepping down from his active career, Ford told Wallace that it’s mostly “the people” he gets to work with.

Harrison Ford has commented that he will not be playing the titular character in the Indiana Jones franchise again after the upcoming film, ‘Dial of Destiny’. The actor has played the character for over 30 years, and he now believes that he is ready to move on to new challenges. “This is the final film in the series, and this is the last time I’ll play the character,” Ford mentioned to Total Film magazine. “I anticipate that it will be the last time that he appears in a film.”
‘Dial of Destiny’ is set to be released on June 30, 2023, and it also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas and John Rhys-Davies.
