Authorities have confirmed the heartbreaking news that Julian Sands, a 65-year-old actor from North Hollywood, who had been reported missing since January, was discovered deceased during a recent hike near the Mount Baldy wilderness area.
The identification process has been completed, and investigations into the cause of his death are still underway. Sands’ family had reported him missing after he failed to return from a hike along the Baldy Bowl Trail in the San Gabriel Mountains on January 13.
Julian Sands, known for his unforgettable roles, including George Emerson in “A Room With a View” (1985), a son of Satan in the “Warlock” movies (1989 and 1993), and a Latvian pimp in “Leaving Las Vegas” (1995), left a lasting impact on the film industry.
