Pete Davidson, the SNL star, comedian, writer and actor, has finally been formally charged for an incident that occurred three months ago when he allegedly drove into a private residence in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend in the back seat. Here’s what we know:
What are the details of Pete Davidsons driving incident?
Davidson was charged with one count of reckless driving on Friday by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office, somewhere around 3 months after the crash. The authorities didn’t believe there were any drugs or alcohol playing a factor in the crash and ended up not arresting Pete at the time. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Pete and Chase Sui Wonders were involved in the crash on March 4 around 11pm. Pete was reportedly behind the wheel of a Mercedes and allegedly driving fast through a residential street when he lost control and crashed into the private home, slightly “traumatizing” the owners 16 year old daughter. The homeowner does not plan to slap a lawsuit on the SNL alum and says he’s got “no beef with Pete” according to TMZ. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but possible punishment could be up to 90 days in jail, a $1000 fine and a knock on Davidson’s license.

A source told People that Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders are “still going strong” nearly six months after they first began dating, also adding that “He really, really cares for her and thinks she’s just the best.” Wonders was in the car with Pete at the time of the crash.
