Mandalorian Mysteries: Ahsoka’s Role In Revealing The Fate Of Star Wars Rebels’ Mandalorian Characters

Ahsoka Reveals The Fate Of Star Wars Rebels' Mandalorian Characters

In the vast Star Wars universe, Mandalore has become a fascinating and important planet. The popular series “The Mandalorian” on Disney+ has brought Mandalore into the spotlight. But keen fans have noticed something missing – some familiar characters are nowhere to be seen. This is where the upcoming Disney+ series “Ahsoka” comes in.

In the upcoming series “Ahsoka,” we’ll witness the live-action debut of Sabine Wren, a prominent Mandalorian character from “Star Wars Rebels.” Played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Sabine played a vital role in inspiring the Mandalorians to join the rebellion against the Empire.

Through her efforts, we were introduced to other characters like Fenn Rau and Clan Wren. However, the question remains: where are they now?

The Destiny of Fenn Rau and Clan Wren in Star Wars Rebels

Fenn Rau, a notable member of the Mandalorian Protectors, served as a guardian of Mandalore’s rulers and protector of their warrior heritage. However, when Gar Saxon, the Imperial Viceroy, betrayed the Protectors, Fenn Rau became the last surviving member. Initially aligned with the Empire and opposing the Rebels, Fenn Rau later became a valuable ally to the Rebellion.

Clan Wren, a respected Mandalorian clan led by Sabine’s mother, Ursa Wren, faced a difficult choice. To avoid destruction, they reluctantly sided with the Empire after Sabine left Mandalore. Yet, when Sabine returned and defeated Gar Saxon in a fierce battle, Ursa Wren stood by her daughter, eliminating their treacherous adversary.

Clan Wren, together with Fenn Rau, pledged their allegiance to Bo-Katan Kryze as she took command of Mandalore. Sadly, their fate took a tragic turn during the Empire’s devastating purge of the planet.

Unraveling Mandalorian Fate in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka

In The Mandalorian series, we witnessed the reunion of three distinct groups of Mandalorians on their home planet. Bo-Katan’s Mandalorian faction, the Children of the Watch, and the survivors who weathered the devastating Purge all came together. However, the absence of characters like Fenn Rau and the Wrens left their fate uncertain. With Sabine’s return in Ahsoka, we may finally uncover what happened to her family and mentor, Fenn Rau.

While Ahsoka may not directly revisit Mandalore, Sabine could update her on their post-Purge destiny. If they survived, future seasons of The Mandalorian or Dave Filoni’s upcoming Star Wars film could witness their reunion with Mandalore.

Mark your calendars for August 23 as Ahsoka arrives on Disney+, bringing with her the answers to Mandalorian mysteries!
