Season 4 Of ‘The Chosen’ Set to Release in Theaters First, Beginning in February

Exciting news for fans of The Chosen! Season four of this popular Biblical streaming series about the life of Jesus will first be played in theaters exclusively. During the past season, the initial and final episodes played in theaters via Fathom events, but this time, fans will have the opportunity to catch the entire season in theaters beginning early February.

What do we know about the theatrical rollout of ‘The Chosen’?

The Chosen: Season 4’s  theatrical release begins on February 1, 2024, with a two-week run of episodes 1-3, followed by episodes 4-6 on February 15, and episodes 7-8 on February 29. Fathom Events is in charge of distribution in the United States and Canada. A group of distributors will also bring the episodes to theaters in Latin America, the United Kingdom, Poland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Season four of The Chosen will premiere on streaming platforms, including The Chosen TV, mobile applications, broadcast and cable TV, following its theatrical run. The show’s global television distributor is Lionsgate. The full theatrical plan was revealed on Sunday night at The Chosen Insiders Conference in Dallas. Attendees were given access to a preview trailer for the upcoming season, which was granted a SAG-AFTRA waiver in the middle of the the ongoing actor strike.

“Every time we’ve dipped our toes in the theatrical waters, viewers have overwhelmingly told us they want more. After seeing the Season 4 episodes, we knew we’d be doing our fans a disservice if we denied them the chance to see them all on a big screen with others they can laugh and cry with.”
